January 3rd,Hakone Ekiden - Toyo Univ. won the runaway champions !

  In Hakone Ekiden, or marathon relay race between Tokyo and Hakone, Toyo University won overwhelmingly, and became champions. The second was Komazawa, the third, Meiji. Before the race, Waseda, last year's champions team, were expected to be one of the potential winners, but they had to resign themselves to the 4th.
