I phoned to Mr.Mikami to say I want to resign from the official of the neighborhood association.

  Today, again, it was reported that it was snowing heavily in Iwamizawa. The amount of snow it had fallen so far was 1.8 m and it was the most in history. Because of the heavy snowfall, traffic was almost all stranded in and around Iwamizawa. But here in Tomakomai, the weather was fine and sunny, though the temperature was low.
   In the morning, I phoned to Mr.Mikami, who is the chief of the official candidates selection committee of the neighborhood association, and told him I would like to resign from the official for the next term.
