3,394 people are still missing more than 10 months after the great earthquake in eastern Tohoku.

15,844 people were killed and 3,394 people are still missing. The Great East Japan Earthquake occurred on March 11th last year. Since then, 10 months have passed. It is reported that the number of volunteers has decreased by one tenth of that in the peak. In the disaster-stricken areas, the reconstruction is steadly going on, but still, big heaps of debris are seen everywhere. When we think of the solution of the problem of nuclear leakage from the power plant in Fukushima, we feel just daunting.
