I slept 10 hours.

  I couldn't sleep last night because I had to go to the shrine, so I had slept for 10 hours until this morning. When I woke up, I was still feeling sleepy. It was snowing during the night, and I had to clear the snow around the house. Then, after eating breakfast, I drove with Ayako to the Tarumae Shrine to pray for  our health and happiness.
  I watched one of the annual New Year events "Hakone Ekiden", an inter-collagiate marathon relay road race in which the students go and return from Tokyo to Hakone. Today, the race from Tokyo to Hakone was held, and Toyo university team was in the 1st place, followed by Waseda univ.(2nd) and Meij univ.(3rd). The race back from Hakone to Tokyo are going to be held tomorrow.
