It was cloudy, but warm. The temperature was about 20 degrees. In the morning,I went to my field in Furusato Noen. The seeds of vegetables we had sowed two weeks before were sprouting. I plowed the other half of our field and prepared for planting out the seedlings of peas and corns we had sowed in planters in the wood deck.I worked from about 9:00 to 11:00.
In the afternoon,Sachiyo, our son's wife, called us from Tokyo International Airport at Haneda, sayinig she was just leaving Japan and returning to San Jose. She had come back to Japan for participating in a research workshop held in Keio University, her alma mater.
In the evening,Ayako and I went to a kaiten-zushi restaurant to eat out.We enjoyed drinking beer and eating sushi.
