It was raining almost all day today, but toward evening,it cleared off. I didn't
have nothing special to do, so I tried to go on translating the book "Chippewa Chief in World War II". I am now translating the 157th page of the original book, but there are some special words and expressions used in U.S. Navy and Air Force during the Second World War.It takes a lot of time to find out the meanings of them, and sometimes,I can't find them at all.Especially,I have difficulties when there are the names of the parts of a war ship or a bomber plane. While translating,I always imagine how a plane launches from the deck of a carrier or touches down on it. And I also know little about the ranks of US Navy and Air Force solidiers in the 1940s. I have 34 pages left to complete the translation, but it will take a lot more time,I am afraid.
